Original Abstract Paintings by Caroline Allwood
Artworks that bring your walls gently to life
Every canvas is hand-painted by Caroline Allwood, an artist based on the French Riviera. One-of-a-kind pieces, delivered with care.
Choosing an original painting online calls for a special kind of trust: you cannot see the canvas in person before you decide. That is why every artwork shown here is photographed in natural light, from several angles, so that the palette-knife texture, the depth of the paint and the subtle colour variations look just as true once the painting is on your wall. These are never prints or mass-produced reproductions: each piece is painted by hand by Caroline Allwood, signed, and delivered with a certificate of authenticity.
Size and subject matter count as much as technique: a large format becomes the centrepiece above a sofa or a fireplace, while a more intimate piece finds its place in a hallway or a study. If you are torn between two canvases, or unsure which dimensions suit your wall, you can ask the artist directly before buying — a personal answer is worth far more than a standard product page.
As for delivery, every painting travels in reinforced packaging designed for original artworks: rigid board, protected corners and end-to-end tracking, within France and internationally. You receive a unique, ready-to-hang work, knowing it will never hang in anyone else’s home. New pieces join the collection every week, straight from the studio as inspiration strikes.
Caroline Allwood: texture before motif
A painter based on the French Riviera, Caroline works oil paint in thick layers, with palette knife and brush — every canvas carries a gesture that is never repeated in exactly the same way.
Exhibited at the Art3f fair in Monaco, among others, she creates original pieces designed to bring a home to life, not simply to fill a wall.

A unique piece, not just another reproduction
Buying an original work of art rather than a mass-produced reproduction means choosing a piece that will never be duplicated. Whether you are a collector, an art lover looking for a canvas to elevate your interior, or searching for a gift that leaves a lasting impression, investing in an original painting goes far beyond a simple decorative purchase: each canvas carries the movement, texture and intention of a gesture the artist will never repeat in exactly the same way.
By choosing an original painting over a print, you directly support the work of a living artist — the daily practice of Caroline Allwood, a painter based on the French Riviera. It is also the assurance of owning something rare: once sold, an original artwork cannot be found anywhere else.
Size, palette, palette-knife or brushwork: every detail matters for a canvas to find its rightful place in your home. Browse the collection above, or contact the artist directly for advice before you buy.
